Visitors' Center

Not too much to see here, but the people in the Visitors' Center are extremely helpful as well as friendly. A short distance to the Schulz Museum.

Was visiting near by and we walked over to Railroad Square. What a great little spot to have lunch, do a little window shopping, and enjoy some great coffee. We really enjoyed sipping lattes at Aroma Roasters and listening to live music. What a treat.

This square has a quaint hotel/restaurant, a chain Mexican restaurant and several coffee shops on three sides with the railroad track on the 4th. Within several blocks are restaurants and antique shops. Great for families and couples during the day and early evening. Multiple Charles Schults "Peanuts" statues here. Late night - not advised for walking in the area.

Frist of all it is a very trendy area. Second There are only shops and restaurants no apartments, condos, deupexs and houses. Third there are Peanut characters all over the place. Last this is my favorite part of Santa Rosa.

We visit Railroad Square several times a year for lunch, brunch or dinner at the several good restaurants and to browse the shops for vintage goods, home decor, or outdoor and running gear. Some of the old architecture is interesting and it's just a fun place to wander on a pleasant day.

I wandered up and down the small historic district and get into a few shopped. Most fascinating was a shop that had shelved filled with games from my childhood. A spoke with some of the local residents and found that the area was having a problem with homeless people, some being aggressive. but I never had a problem. I simply... More

I arrived early for lunch so took a stroll on 4th. It's been awhile since I was last there and was surprised at the similar type of stores on the block. Furniture, thrift and antiques are plentiful. Not sure I'd want to hang out here at night but definitely during the day.
