I live behind Annadel State Park and it truly deserves its name, the jewel of Sonoma County. Annadel is really three parks connected: a city park (Howarth), a county park (Spring Lake) and a State Park (Annadel). Howarth Park and Lake Ralphine has the train...More

A fabulous park where you can hike, bike ride, or ride horses, all within 2 miles of downtown Santa Rosa. You can take hikes that are short or many miles long.

Wonderful hike but the down side was all the bikers and many didn't have bells to warn you. There were a few close calls.

Annadel has always been a draw for me. We hike often, and train for hikes in other places in the world. It has so much to offer. In the early morning we hear owl, turkey, and hawks. The wildlife is abundant in this park inside...More

Okay, I'm not objective. We live across the street. Many ways to enter the park for FREE. Three parks, Annadel State Park, Spring Lake, Sonoma County Park, and Howarth, Santa Rosa city park are all linked together. Peaceful.

Although it is close to the hustle and bustle, you feel very secluded in nature and you can not hear the cars from the near by roads. You are right above a lovley swimming lagoon and a lake. There is even a frog pond and...More
