We had this tasting room all to ourselves on a Wed. morning. The decor is everything fire house related - T-shirts, patches, toy fire trucks. Wine tasting was free and the server very friendly. Nice little experience.

I visited Hook and Ladder during the Wine and Food Affair weekend. Overall, I was not impressed with their wines. Granted, their prices were lower than most of their neighboring wineries; however, for a few dollars more a bottle the difference in taste and quality...More

This small winery had surprisingly and consistently good reds. The savignon balances and the chardonnays were excellent, as well. The tasting area is roomy and the staff is exceptionally welcoming. Prices on their wines were mostly in the mid-20's per bottle, much more reasonable than...More

This winery is amazing. Small, young yet each wine was powerful. I am so glad I found this place. Of all the wineries visited, this is the one that stands out.

The staff is friendly, wines are good, decent olive oil. Decorated with tshirts from Fire Department around the country. Our 2nd visit and the place is always crowded with lively people.

Loved the people here, so friendly and fun. They have a great, knowledgeable staff and fun tasting. Ours was free with our hotel stay, but we ended up purchasing several bottles anyway. Best chardonnay in the region! If you come in, bring your local firehouse...More
