This art museum was a real surprise! It's a beautiful historic building with some wonderful art exhibits. It is a very sophistcated and well thought out secluded venue. I have lived in the area for 20 years and can kick myself for not visiting sooner.

Great place to visit local and other artists. Those visiting this city would find it a great place to visit with their children as well.

The museum is the former headquarters of Limoneira. It was built in the 1920s. Lovely building, pleasant architecture. Not large, but a very nice selection of local artists and some older historical pieces. Worth stopping into if in the area.

It is surprising indeed that a small agricultural town like Santa Paula would have three good museums! This one, located in a beautifully restored building, is well worth a visit!

For a small town, this is a really nice spot. It's well worth the drive. Have lunch while you're there and make a day of it.
