The good news is that the therapist was excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The service and the staff were attentive and pleasant. But they just don't have enough room. The front desk is in the hallway/entrance to the hotel. The waiting room barely fits two small couches and if more than 5 people are waiting, you will be standing.... More

I have enjoyed all of my services at the Exhale Spa at the Fairmont! The Spa is small, but it gives you what you need with out a lot of the extras. I don't go there for the extras, but for what I need at the time, so it suits my needs. Love Nadia! Her facial is tops! The staff... More

I am a Santa Monica resident and stay at the Fairmont Hotel whenever I'm back in town for business/pleasure. I had the WORST experience at Exhale yesterday. I booked an appt for acupressure at 5:30pm. Bonnie, the girl at the desk, booked me for acupuncture even though I SPECIFICALLY told her I'm NOT getting acupuncture only acupressure THREE TIMES! I... This spa is gorgeous and bright upon entry, and does not make you feel like you're getting your services done at a hotel, but rather maintains the uplifting vibe you'd expect from Exhale. I get facials all over the world, have gone to the most high end places, and Brigette managed to surpass all those experiences with the best facial... More

I got the craniosacral treatment, which is kind of like a scalp massage but more positioning and releasing tension in the head/neck. It was great! The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars is that the locker and waiting room for this spa is super small. Not the kind of facility where you could spend a whole day relaxing... More

I tried a couple of classes here and it was okay. Of course its very convenient if youre staying at the hotel. However, afterwards I tried yogaworks down the street and that was a totally different and amazing experience! There is such a variety of classes there and the people are just so nice and helpful. I tried a class... More

Unfortunately, the quality of the services and the space leave a lot to be desired. It is very expensive for what you get: a very poor massage that felt as if it was done by a trainee, interiors that were not elevated at all- this place did not feel like a world class spa. I would save my money and... More

I had three service at this spa. The facial was relaxing, and the products were very effective. The second treatment was a full body exfoliation. This is a must have treatment for the wintertime. It was invigorating, and rejuvenating. The last treatment I had was a full body massage, which was also exquisite. I recommend at least one treatment at... More

We stayed for a long weekend at the Fairmont, and I had a chance to sample quite a few treatments, having splurged on the Day of Restoration package. They were totally accommodating about spreading the treatments out over a couple of days, and the spa was immaculate, the treatments were professional and the therapists were all as nice as can... Staying in Santa Monica

Neighbourhood Profile
Santa Monica
Santa Monica is a coastal town that maintains a balance as a tourist destination and as an area with a thriving local culture. On the beach, bikers, roller-bladers, runners and walkers move along the famed bike path enjoying the beautiful Los Angeles weather. The solar-powered Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier spins high above the water, while park revelers scream with delight riding the roller coaster. Inland from the beach, Third Street Promenade bustles with shoppers and street performers, where every block seems to have a musical or acrobatic act drawing crowds giving Santa Monica both the feeling of a laid-back beach town and a major commercial hub.
