Few places in the country can honestly say that they adequately capture the flavor of a particular location. The truth is that once the sunset, people want to get dirty, and we just help them indulge. Harvelle's takes pride in showcasing the best live Blues, R&B, Soul, Jazz, Burlesque Shows, and so much more. Our crown jewel is the Toledo show, there's really nothing quite like it. A mix of all the best talents the area has to offer, all in one place. No one has quite a good time as Harvelle's!

I love Harvelle's! Very cool blues bar that is unpretentious, multi-cultural and sexy as hell! Nothing about the interior is special, but the vibe is fabulous! Sunday Night is a band called The Toledo Show! This is one of the coolest shows in LA! Live...More

We went on a Sunday night and there happened to be a very famous jazz singer performing that night! The performance was great, there was limited seating which made it difficult to see. Cover was $10, drinks were average we thought for LA. Warning: if...More

Small and intimate but rockin' at the same time. Get up close and dance or bounce or hang back with a drink and just enjoy.. Comfortable enough to go by yourself too.

I've been coming to Harvelle's for over 15 years and this place is always great! As the oldest Jazz Club west of the Mississippi it attracts great musicians but my favorite is Sunday nights for The Toledo Show---there's nothing better than Toledo's funked up bluesy...More

The place, energy, people, live music, reasonably priced drinks and of course the Blues is what has made this place my new favorite spot. Looking for a great time? Visit Harvelles!

We've wanted to check out Harvelle's for many years after seeing their low budget cable TV commercials. So, fast forward 10 years and we spontaneously found ourselves here after dinner in search of good live music. We happened to arrive right before the show started...More

Loved this place. Got a seat at the bar before the place got really packed, bar stools and booths fill up pretty quickly. The place had a old fashioned speakeasy feel to it and I felt as though I could have been in a scene...More

A local told us about this place and that there was a jazz / rap gig playing that night. Firstly, what the hell is jazz / rap? I was skeptical. Then i was told that entry was $7 and they had cheap PBR. This convinced...More

Great to hear you found us by word of mouth, Milvey! Glad you enjoyed everything from the atmosphere to the drinks. We're all about our live acts here, so we're psyched you dug the band when you were here. Hope you've had a chance to...More

there's really no set dress code that I'm aware of but most men wear collared shirts and women jeans to dresses. as its a very small club a sweatshirt may be too hot.
