Came in here from a recommendation by another winery. A small tasting room adjacent to the cellar with a huge selection of unique varietals that you won't find at other local wineries. I was served by Steve, who was extremely well informed and a real joy to talk with. I stopped at 3 wineries that day and this was by... More

Had not visited this winery on prior trips. Seen the name in wine shops and glad we made the trip. It was worth the drive north, Steve knows his stuff, great personality and knowledge of the wines and the local area. We walked in with an open mind but not expecting to walk out with $500 of wine! We purchased... More

I've been to a lot of wineries in the Central Coast/Santa Barbara area. I also belong to too many wine clubs. I went to Kenneth Volk on the recommendation of a friend, and enjoyed myself quite a lot. They have a huge variety of wines. Many of them are outstanding. Volk doesn't have a vineyard, but buys his grapes from... More

We spent 3 days in the Santa Maria Valley tasting wine and Kenneth Volks Touriga Nacional was one of the best. It is a lovely vineyard great place for a glass of wine and a snack. Well worth the trip out there.

Delicious wines, huge selection of varietals, beautiful location, friendly staff. Great place to visit and picnic when you're in or near Santa Maria. There may even be water in the creek!

This winery was my last stop after an overall disappointing day of wine tasting along the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail headed south to north. If only I’d known. What a great way to finish! First, the winery itself is very attractive and a great place to just hang out. The wine tasting room itself, although in a warehouse type setting,... More

The staff at Kenneth Volk consistently offer one of the best tasting experiences in California (actually, pretty much anywhere). At the heart of this, of course, are exceptional wines, and underappreciated varietals, as well as the standards such as pinot. However, there are many wineries with good products, but the tasting room experience diminishes them. This is never the case... More

Have belonged to wine club and think this the best in Santa Maria Valley. The selection of wines is great. My particular favorite is Negrette. Only place that makes this wine.

We always make a point to visit this winery when in the area. When we lived in SoCal we spent a lot of time taking out of town guests on day trips to this wine region and spent long weekends here and at the beaches of Santa Barbara County. Whatever the event we always made sure to go to Kenneth... More

Some good wines, and a large selection of Pinot Noir, plus two locations and three lists for wine tasting, so you better plan to split these with someone or this might be your only stop.

Thank Tony L
