Walked a ways on this easy path above DT Santa Cruz on the West Cliffs. Road parallels path/trail...nice neighborhood. Walkers, runners and bikers. Striking ocean scenes, waves pounds rocks below. Since walk is in a rough semi circular view's are great of breaking waves.

This path along West Cliff has phenomenal views of the ocean and cliffs. If you bike you can stop where you want and see the sea otters, surfers, whales, and dolphins that frequent the bay. Amazing scenery.

This drive is best taken during the week days when the traffic is light. You will see many lovely homes on one side and the ocean on the other side.

I hired a segway tour company to take in the whole experience. If you are not local, and are relying on hired drivers, do yourself a favor and take this road in via segway. The waves crashing on the rocks, the flowers and the surfers...More
