I walk the beaches along the Mesa most every morning. If I'm energetic I like 1000 steps. BTW... it's actually closer to 400 steps in reality. You can only walk the beach when the tide is out so check your tide charts first. It is...More

Really impressive beach. We really enjoyed seeing the cave and all of the multi million dollar beach houses, some of which have elevators to get rich home owners to and from the beach faster. The challenge of this beach is the parking. You have to...More

Beautiful place to visit with family or friends , doesn't take too long to get through the cave and over rocks to the private pools. Be sure to be careful and time the waves properly because they can be decently powerful so hold on while...More

Nice and very clean. We love the walk on the beach and were able to climb on the steps with a very brief break lol

Thousand Steps Beach is Worth the Steps! The views are amazing and the fresh salty sea air sometimes cooler - so dress in layers!

Plenty of dog walkers and not all were diligent about cleaning up after their animals. At least the beach is cleaned by the tide daily!

There is not a lot of shoreline here, but is still a beautiful beach to visit. Don't mind the steps, they really aren't that bad.

Sure feels like a 1000 steps when you head back up to street level. We stayed close and could walk to the access stairs. Nice quiet location away from the main beach area by the marina. Would recommend this location for quiet time and a...More
