Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We have a long history with Kunin Wines. We've been wine club members and non-wine club members and this is always a favorite stop. If you like Rhone wines, you won't be disappointed. Even during C19, they've adapted to accommodate clientele without reservations, 7 days a week, which is nice for a day when you just feel like winging it.

Great wine, space & vibe.....and the corks on the bottles are "Brenna & Robbie"
As members we come up to Santa Barbara for our seasonal wine pickups. Upon arrival there is always a great welcoming smile. This is rare indeed, one could not ask for more. The excellent service, conversation, along with delicious wine is the reason we come in person. These two great people make the difference ! Thanks Robbie & Brenna, we hope to see you soon. Glad we are members.

This is a cute winery near the beach. Unfortunately the young woman who was working the tasting bar couldn't give 2 cents whether we were there or not. She barely acknowledged us, instead gabbed with two friends on the other side of the bar. She didn't offer any background to the wines or "sell" the unique aspects of Kunin wines. Too bad---I'm sure their wines are very good, but the customer service in the tasting room needs improvement.

From people that know me they will know that I'm not a wine drinker... so when my partner suggested coming here when we visited from the UK I was trawling through mapping to find the nearest bar following experiencing it for a beer!
That said... my view of wine has been completely spun on its head.
The wines here are amazing and I can now say that I'm an adult and wine drinker... so much so we bought three bottles. Thankfully all made it home in one piece!
Thank you to the lovely lady that helped us try all of her wines.
Excellent service. Go here.

For $12 you can taste a flight of white or red. And you can revisit the wines. The day were visited the gal poring was very friendly and provided good Info about the various wines.

Finally was convinced by white wines! The staff person was very friendly and conversational, and we learned a lot about Kunin's wine making and the wine country surrounding Santa Barbara.

Stopped into the Santa Barbara tourist office, picked up a map of wine tasting locations and this one happened to be the first one we drove by. Took advantage of the 2 for one wine tasting coupon on the map. There were 2 flights offered. One was all Syrah (yay!) and the other had some whites, which we're not all that fond of so the choice was easy. The bartender (?) was very helpful in describing each wine telling us about where they buy grapes from, etc. No pressure to join a club, although there was info about that on the menu. Loved all the wines and ended up buying a bottle to take home. :)

An earlier review said great Rhone wines by the beach, it isn't by the beach (exactly) but the rest is true. Great tasting

Excellent assortment of wines with a heavy Rhone influence. We really enjoyed the Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable and the tasting room is only a short walk to the beach.
