This hike was beyond my ability and I am a fair to average hiker. The terrain was ever changing from what seemed easy and well marked to disappearing when crossing streams and humping over and up large boulders and fallen trees. It became very steep and slippery at times so much so that we were on our knees grabbing at... More

We got lost looking for Seven Falls because the trails aren't marked very clearly. We ended up on Jesusita Trail which takes you to Inspiration Point. It's a steep climb with loose rocks along the way. Wear hiking shoes and bring water. The reward at the top is amazing views of Goleta and Santa Barbara as far as the eye... More

This was a great hike. Kepp you eyes out for the many species of birds. We even saw red crested Woodpeckers! Awesome sight. Trails very well maintained.

I've been out here multiple times, though perhaps I don't take the correct route through the rocks and down the creek... But, I've always had a good time. I'd say the only downsides to this place are parking (as I'm sure others have mentioned) and that getting "into nature" takes you quite a long uphill climb on paved access roads.... More

The neighbors hate everyone parking there. Far too popular now. Watch out for the mountain biking morons, too. Nothing like a good person vs bike collision to make your hiking experience complete.

This is a great hike even if you don't hike often or do it all the time. once you reach the end of this hike, there are trails that go higher up they arent used much so be careful going up those

The map on this web-site is misleading. To find these trails you have to drive all the way to the end of tunnel street. There's very little parking at the trailhead this is the only real problem with this activity. This is as much a climb as it is a hike. You can easily take the wrong way on the... More

this trail! I was told it was only a 1/4 of a mile to the falls and then we had another 1/4 of a mile up to the main falls but that we had to actually climb over the falls itself. The hike was actually close to 5 miles on way...BUT IT WAS AMAZING! The only down side is if... More

7 falls is one of the most beautiful spots I've hiked to in Southern California! Initially we took the wrong trail and ended up hiking to the top of a look out spot; it was a beautiful detour. After turning around and finding the correct trail we were more than ready to jump in to the not too cold pools... More
