There is a lot to see and explore. A well done experience so plan on spending some time here, it is worth it. Don't forget to go out back and see the gardens.

wonderful facility, well designed and executed, wonderful and diverse collections. one of the best jellyfish exhibits in the world, worth the drive for the jellyfish alone. museum is integrated with the wildlife sanctuary 'Sea Center', which extends into the bay/ocean.

My boy loved the sea animal room and the butterfly room along with the outdoor area. There's a good number of subjects covered. If you want a sob story read about the Chumach in the native peoples room.

The "Butterflies Alive" and the "T-Rex named Sue" were my two favorite exhibits in 2016. The Museum was also hosting a pottery exhibit and several other fantastic things to see and do. A truly wonderful way to spend a day or more.
