This is a cute little museum, that has an interesting collection worthy of at least 1 visit, but sometimes has visiting exhibits that are fabulous. They had Lucy there as well as mummies and terracotta soldiers.

I knew I’d be arriving near closing, but was still charged full price for a less than 10 minute visit. The staff were somewhat indignant, passive aggressive, rigid, and rude in their approach, regardless of the time reality that I already knew. What I could...More

The museum has interesting and unique exhibits. The garden is beautiful and there is a very nice restaurant. I often find rare finds in the shop.

A story of Arctic exploration which turned into a fight for survival thru 2 Arctic winters. All of which is seen thru the lens (literally) of photographer Frank Hurley who chronicled the story of the human experience with his camera. The exhibits contains other expeditions...More

Absolutely stunning. One of the best I've ever seen. We are fortunate to hear Shackleton's granddaughter speak. Don't miss it!

Not to my knowledge, many museums are historically closed on Mondays. Hours should be posted on their website.
