I love walking around the park at different hours and to see the various groups... team soccer or volleyball on the grass, ice skating in the winter, adult softball leagues in the evening... and when Pokemon Go was big last year, there were so many kids there all the time!! And the children play area is always put to good... More

The park is a family-friendly place to relax in San Mateo any time, but the Japanese Tea Garden, open 11-4, is a gem. It is very well designed, well manicured, and traditional. The koi are old and numerous and there are many other features.

Quiet shade areas in parts of park are relaxing. But in terms of water features or activity there is nothing to do. It is also close to City center but San Ramon has nothing to offer by way of cuisine or food choices. Market place across the street is dismal and poorly designed for parking.

It starts with a ball field and ends with swings and picnic tables. It's a great city park. Come during the weekend and enjoy a connection with humanity. Visit during the week and enjoy solitude. This is a true haven from the hustle of the city,

Love the train for the kiddos. Nice to have a wide park for tennis, baseball, concerts, and just having a picnic!

Great food, good service and friendly people😊. The food is always good and they have the best BREAD PUDDING you have ever had.

We take our grand children there at least once a month and there is plenty of play equipment for them to play and have fun with. There is always parking on the eastside of El Camino. Park is well maintained and also a great place to find quiet time.

The Park is filled with the life of the community. Baseball fields for different age teams tht is convet to an ice rink duing the winter holidays. A fun for picnics of family groups or firends. A lovely central gatheing place for making art, playing tennis, walking through the paths, sitting on benches and watching the strollers, talking to friends.... More

Kids like the mini-train operated. It is on the expensive side (like $3-$4 for 2 laps). The playground is big.

We loved this park. Walking along this inlet from the San Francisco Bay was relaxing. We ate lunch by the water and then rented kayaks and paddled all around. It is bigger than we thought and goes all the way to the bay, which we did not have time to do. Lovely outdoor amphitheater where the local library was holding... More
