This close to downtown, great escape in the middle of a work day. A special green area that gives you a Zen feeling as you walk through it. We always feel so relaxed when we leave the park.

This park is a gem in downtown San Mateo. They host many activities for families and there are baseball fields and a Japanese Garden that is delightful. A lovely city park.

Central Park has something for everyone. Playground for the kiddos, a beautiful rose garden with benches and The Japanese Tea Garden. Great place to sit and have lunch or just sit for a spell.

I ride my bike to work and pass by the park to capture its beauty. Summer time concerts, the botanical garden (they also sell plants) The Taichi seniors in the morning - with the planting music from the Orient, what’s not to like!
