We used to come to this park years ago. I remember it being much more green and lush, but during this last trip, it looked pretty dry. Granted it was a warm weekend. Another pretty cool thing is that there is a dog park inside....More

We chose this spot because it was midway between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. It was an easy 10 minute drive to either downtown SLO or Morro Bay from the campsites. We were in Romauldo 14 and we lucked out as our spot was...More

We enjoyed our weekend stay at El Chorro. The park is close to San Luis Obispo and Cambria. Our campsite was private and the park is small clean and quiet. We will be back!

We are always looking for off leash dog parks as we take our road trips. This is a nice park on the road north of town (Hwy 1). The facilities are nice and there's lots of room. No grass though; only bark shavings.
