This park is below the Lick Obseratory. It is enormous and so quiet that one has escaped the buzz of the city. Parking for horse trailers is here and places for large groups as well as camping over night.

This little gem is on the way to Mt Hamilton, the original pioneer house is intact, and some of the gardens and fields are still there. Worth the stop on the way up to the observatory.

there is an entrance fee to enter the main parking lot by the bathrooms and rose garden. But there is ample parking and entrances to hiking trails all along the outside boundaries of the park.
