Lovely park. Directions brought us to a pay to park lot where we didn't have access and had to drive around. It was a week day and we got a parking spot right near the entrance. Very quiet as most of the buildings we're closed...More

Used to come here just for the gift shop, but heard about a photo exhibit of field workers, so took sister and auntie. The exhibit was great, and my 80+ auntie loved all the old buildings and riding in the trolley car. I was disappointed...More

We were over at the Japanese Friendship Garden and knew there were a couple museums over here so decided to check it out. Wow! This place is so cute, has a lot of history, and the volunteers are great - very passionate, sweet and informative....More

Many building restored and available to tour, plus a replica of the light tower that once spanned a main street in downtown. Great place to picnic, ride the old trolley, travel back in time.

We discovered it because we saw a promotion for the Italian/American Heritage Festival, or we would have surely missed this venue. Nicely presented. Depicts all the diverse cultural values of the area. We went mostly for the festival.

I've been a member of this park in the past, but never really used it. There is some interesting history to learn from the buildings and the people who work there. Ultimately, for small kids though, it's kind of a gateway to Happy Hollow where...More

San Jose has long, rich history, not only in agriculture but in many other things such as radio for example. However, city "leaders" do not seem to know or care about it. They certainly do not honor it. Although many historical buildings and homes have...More

One will be amazed by the wide variety of cultures that are exhibited. Delving into San Jose's historical past is fun and rewarding. This a definite place to show kids things that are certainly not present in today's world.
