other than the statue of Thomas Fallon. The park itself is very small and the history on the statue is more interesting than the park.

In the early 1850s, Louis Pellier, a San Jose orchardist, successfully bring-in prune from France, a great boom on fruit industry for Santa Clara valley. I only see a statue for this, not aware of this is a "historical park".

I suspect it's rather a joke that someone put Pellier Park on the map. It's a collection of heritage fruit trees that were preserved--that's the good part--but were shuttled around by the city until they landed in a strip of land where two major arteries intersect. The bad part is that you're taking your life in your hand to cross... More
