Every event I've ever been to here has been great, and the venue is never too crowded. Nice separate areas for refreshments/waiting, and never a very long line to the restroom. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house either. I live close...More

Got season tickets to Broadway San Jose, playing at the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts (CPA). 2016-2017 saw in order of preference: Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret, Sound of Music, Bodyguard, Mathilda, and Kinky Boots as part of the season ticket shows, and...More

Food service before a show is surprisingly good. We shared 2 small plates, both excellent. No need to stop for a quick bite prior to a play when food this good is available.

I saw a matinee on a Sunday. I was not familiar with the storyline in advance, however my socks were knocked off. A great dig at all religions. Well worth it. But not for children or right wing religious types.

The seats were comfortable, very good unobstructed views, very good sound system and it was easy to enter and exit the auditorium. Seating is Greek and Roman amphitheater style with no aisles dividing the rows, yet it is easy to get in and out. We...More

Good line of sight, seats were comfortable, audio was good. Nearby parking is convenient. Bathroom and refreshment lines during intermission are long. A miss during the initial build and any remodel is the lack of exit isles except at either distant end. In the event...More

My wife and I saw the Bodyguard and found it to be delightful. Music and dance numbers were powerful. Nice array of musical selections and easy to follow plot complete with a very bad bad guy. Nice curtain call encore of several numbers.

I came here so many times to enjoy the Vietnamese concerts, we did have a nice time whenever we come, it's not only the shows, but also the seat and the space are so warm and enjoyable. Highly recommend any show is organized here!

Convenient location, parking is relatively cheap. However, there is no middle row, so the seats are just in one long row, so use the bathroom before you go. Parking is cheap, usually less than $10 per show and snacks inside are priced well ($2 cookies...More

As an experienced NYC theatre-goer, I am so grateful for the quality of the shows that come to the San Jose Center for the Performing Arts. The BEST deal is to buy season tickets if you want to see all of the shows, but you...More

It really depends on what event you're considering, as they all vary in price. It would be best to contact the box office and ask them what pricing options they have for the event you would like to attend.

We like to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory - 51 N. San Pedro - plenty of parking on street and city lot - a little bit of a walk - about 6 blocks - but worth it.
