My Grandsons and Grandaughter can visit here for hours and hours. They have tons of fun. The Dome theater is fabulous with great sound systems and a dynamic designed circular screen. Very educational and entertaining for ALL AGES. Do not miss this place with children.

We went with our grandchildren. We were there for 4 hours. We could have stayed another 4 hours just to use the exhibits and learn from the exhibits. The boys are 11, 9 and 7. Great staff all friendly and super exhibits, that can be...More

We live in San Jose and have a membership. This is a great place to learn about all different branches of science and Engineering. Plus the imax theater is a one of a kind in the country.

Our family loves this museum. Be sure and look at family membership option as it pays for itself in just two visits. You enter on the main lobby where the new laser IMAX screen is (costs extra) and then they have an upper and lower...More

Having a break during a congress (the venue was placed two blocks away), I visited this museum. Even when it´s certainly focused on science and technology, it´s more suitable for going with kids. I´m sure they would really appreciate the many spaces available to get...More

Like someone has mentioned below, this museum is mainly geared towards kids. If you have children- it’s fantastic but if you don’t, it’s not so fantastic. Also, tickets were $25 each for an adult. Not worth $50 in my opinion for a children’s museum. It...More

I had time to kill and, having volunteered at the old Tech Museum in the early 90s, I thought I'd check this out. There are lots of different exhibits and I think families could spend hours there with all the interactive stuff that kids love....More

This was not a good visit. Some exhibitions were closed and I definitely did not want to see the dead bodies exhibition! One item was great - bacteria thingy - because the assistant was great. Other assistants were kind of tired/tiresome and this was a...More

We spent nearly 3 hours in this interesting museum and we could have spent the whole day there. It was enjoyable even though there were many school children groups. It’s spacious and well maintained. Nice gift shop, too. We bought our tickets online. It was...More

This museum advertised itself as breaking edge new technology of Silicion Valley, however it was dissapointing to say the least. The some of the staff were friendly enough, however the exhibits were kind of lacking. Being into art I was so excited to try out...More

Definitely fine for a 3 yr old- there’s a small nursery section (science play) and if it’s possible to split up i.e. 2 adults, one can go there for a while while the other takes the older child around. The 7 yr old is... More

I visited last December. I suggest you check their website. They are usually very busy this time of year.
