I went with my family after reading Rick Riordan's The Red Pyramid and the Kane Chronicles. It gives the visitors a lot of visuals and immersion on Ancient History and Religion. Staff were especially very informative and engaged with the interaction with kids. The parking was adequate and the posts were beautiful! Lots of statues that depict the rich Egyptian... More

Mostly focused for the kids, but some things would interest adults if they did not have crowds of unruly kids and their harried parents mobbing the place. If you don't have kids, visit during school hours...

We recently went here with our 12 year old grandson. He found many of the displays to be aimed at a younger audience. There were some things he found to be interesting but with today's tech age children they like more challenging quests. There were many things for the younger crowd to do. They seemed to be aimed at the... More

One of the best days spent in San Jose was with the grand kids at the Tech Museum. There are TONS of thought-provoking and engaging displays. Many of them are hands (or feet) on. I didn't love every exhibit, but there were a few I couldn't leave. And the kids never wanted to leave. Lots of creations that you probably... More

What a nice idea, breaks things down to really make you think about things and explain various topics. IT Security is my field, and I loved the way they broke down the basics to help explain this complicated subject.

We like this place for rainy day activities - also does not hurt that it has an IMAX theatre inside! :)

This is a great place for kids who like to tinker and learn at the same time. There are different attractions year round, not to mention the imax theater with science/educational movies and also other attractions like Star Wars.

This is a great place for everyone. Lots of hands on experiments/interactions at various skill levels. The exhibits change frequently so there is always new things to see. They also have a great IMAX theater.
