Easy to access and very nice. Parking is paid but you can choose all day or hourly (unlike some beaches that charge a flat $15 even if you're only there for an hour). There are facilities here just before you head down to the beach...More

We tried to take a barefoot walk along this beach, but it's full of small gravel and tough on the feet! Pretty view and fun to watch the trains go by!

This sandy beach is great for sun and non-pro surfing. Easy accessible and not crowded at all. Possibillity for purchase of food, coffee, drinks and ice cream in adjacent restaurant, bar and ice hut.

Hit the sand and relax! Walking is good for everyone at the beach. Watched the sunset, do selfies, check colored stones, ogle at multi-million Gorg beachfront homes and sigh. Beautiful time anytime🌊😍!

Down a little from the main pier, offers good opportunities for some body surfing, swimming, and just plain beach fun. Both Metrolink and Amtrak run along the east boundary. But bring your own food and drink because offers are severely limited at this location.

I don't remember any signs or mentions in the park's brochures about pool floats, so I believe that you can enjoy your use of pool floats during your stay.

Yes dogs are allowed on the beach trails and also the salt creek beach trail in Dana Point. Most beaches are somewhat dog friendly (Google rules and look for signs) to some degree in the OC. Officially off leash dog beaches... More
