I went there 2 times already and it is one of the best camping spots in California. There is a river, a lake and a natural Jacuzzi.

The trail up to the hot springs is narrow & runs along the side of the mountain. Be aware of your surroundings & take plenty of water. Personally, I would not swim in or drink the water since it has known to be contaminated. Make...More

Beautiful hot springs all different temperatures very clear water. Lots of nudists and drug use within the area, we minded our own business and had a great time. Everyone was very friendly and locals very comfortable being fully nude. Fun and unique experience! Will go...More

Deep Creek is not for everyone. It's not for me. I find that that trash left behind and naked strangers walking by and sharing the same water is a bit disconcerting. Must be my age. I wish I was more "liberal" or relaxed about it...More

The hike in wasn't so bad, but the hike out was very tiring, especially after a long day. To put it into perspective, if you parked at Bowen Ranch, you climb about 1000 feet in two miles, so bring lots of water. There are a...More
