There isn't much up in Salinas and we just needed something quick. The staff was friendly and fun! The food is the same everywhere, so no frills. They have a TON of TV's for games, so that was great!

We regret that this individual expected more than we were able to provide. Although we are unsure where they saw that we "claim to be a wildlife sanctuary" or we're "applying to become a zoological park...", that information is simply not something we posted anywhere....More

We are slept in a tent with all the comforts of home. The tour of the animals was excellent. We spent extra money to feed the lions, tigers and elephants. A elephant brought our breakfast. A freat birthday for me.

Truly awesome experience. Seeing animals up close and personal, learning about them, and seeing how much staff truly cares about animals. I highly recommend doing private tour, elephant bath, feeding the big cats, and elephant bedtime. It's really a surreal experience to see an elephant,...More

We are although some exhibits and activities might be closed for the health and safety of the animals. It's all dependent upon how bad the weather is but we generally stop open rain or shine.

Uber or a cab is in fact currently the best choices at this point. We hope our future will include transportation to and from Monterey and our zoo.
