Nice and honest wines

A little awkward of an entrance for who drives from the south but worth the visit. The new wine maker is s a good promise. Tasted his first Cabernet and it is great.

Beringer. Does the name Beringer exude a wine I want to drink? No. But, the grounds are very nice and I enjoy going into the old house, looking at the craftsmanship. Any winery that produces a White Zinfandel kinda tells you that they are more into the marketing and making of money, than making great wine. We have stopped in... More

There are tons of amazing wines in Napa and you should always try and find one on a trip. But a trip too one of the beautiful historic wineries. Beringer is one of those. Gorgeous! Their known for lots of mid range grocery store wines which can be tasted, a tour is fun, but a trip upstairs to the Founder's... More

Initially you drive past the beautiful Rhine House to a parking lot. A sign will lead you to the shop and wine tasting. Interesting selection of wines. We were nearing the end of the day so we skipped the tastings. Make sure to see the Rhine House.

The reserve tasting is in a gorgeous wood paneled building with restored leaded glass windows and original light fixtures. There are many other buildings and grounds to explore however we were there at the end of the day and simply did not have time to wander through it all. I would give the grounds five stars and recommend a stop... More

We can't drive through the area without stopping at this historic winery. The wines are always good, and the gift shops at both the winery and Rhein House are very nice.

Beringer is our favourite wine so it had to be our first stop when we came to Napa. The grounds are beautiful. We took a tour that took us into the cellar and we tried several wines. Our tour guide was very informative and answered all our questions. Still our favourite.

This was a must visit on a recent trip to Sonoma/Napa. The house is beautiful to see and the grounds are lovely! The staff went over the top to ensure we had a great selection of wines to taste. Even bought a couple wine glasses to take back home! While Beringer is a big name winery, it is definitely a... More

This stop was not preplanned but was a pleasant surprise. Our driver suggested a short stop to visit the property and the historic building. It is beautiful inside and out. Once inside we decided to taste the reserves. I was aware of the distributed wines but not the club/tasting room only. Delicious and stand out. Do visit this winery. You... More

Beringer is one of the huge, corporate wineries. With that being said, it was amazingly beautiful and is a definite must see. The old Victorian house on the property is still open and has tastings and a gift shop inside of it. We had found a deal on a Napa app that had a deal for the tasting if you... More
