V. Sattui Winery is a family-owned property located in the heart of Napa Valley, which was founded in 1885 and makes more than 60 different wines with dozens of 90+ point rated wines among its current vintages. It is a stunning, must-see Napa Valley destination for picnics, weddings and events, offering an impressively robust Cheese Shop with more than 200 selections, an excellent Deli directed by Chef Gerardo Sainato, and a Salumeria directed by Stefano Masanti. The sprawling estate includes two-dozen picnic tables nestled beneath ancient Valley Oak trees and tri-level terraces that overlook beautifully manicured gardens and vineyards.

What a place. It's a beautiful setting. Very busy, probably because many might have picked up on the two for one wine tasting offer. Loads of food options for a picnic. Recommended.

Unfortunately our guide was new, inexperienced, nervous and seemly not nearly as knowledgeable or professional as other wineries in the region.

A beautiful winery! Great wine and port. A shorter tour than I thought. Standing room only for tastings.

We were waiting for our member, and it seemed like a great 4 star place. When the member took us to the member spot, then it's a 5 star place. Worth the time either way.

My wife and I scheduled a tasting in the vip room. Our hostess was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a picnic lunch on the lawn beforehand from the deli. It was delicious! A great stop in wine country.

Taste the wine, select a bottle or two and complete your picnic shopping in their onsite market. Very relaxing and enjoyable evening!

The wine tasting and tour were good. We bought lunch fixings and ate in the picnic area. Way too many people. Sattui may have to expand its facilities or limit visitors.

I don’t see any dog there when I visit it but, I think, if you take care of him, will not be a problem. Also, I don’t remember to see any sign that forbids dogs, so, good look and enjoy!

My answer might sound really vague (and you’re probably already there) but my guide - which I don’t remember the name now - was italian. Italian looking and with accent also.

I saw a lot of children of all ages when visiting this winery. I can't imagine it would be an issue.
