I did a Monday mass here. The Cathedral is absolutely beautiful with tremendous history. The story of some of the frescoes is fascinating, considering in 1900 some came here from Germany. Put this on you list.

This is a beautiful church nestled at the midst of the busy Capitol Hill of Sacramento. The interior is beautiful and is comparable to the churches seen in Europe. The church is very clean and very quiet place of worship. The choir for Sunday mass...More

My family always attend mass here, and althougj there are a lot of people attending the mass, it is still solemn. The choir is really good. Kudos to the music director, Rex Rallanka.

One block from the seat of California government. This church welcomes all and its visitors reflect the ethnic, racial, and economic diversity of Sacramento and those who visit the city. A gorgeous church where all are welcomeu to experience your own higher power

This church is located in downtown Sacramento on the K Street Mall adjacent the State Capitol. The church is beautiful and serene. Great place to visit for mass or just to have a quiet meditative time.

After years of looking like a ravaged former church that had been turned into an Astroturfed performance space for professional wrestling, this cathedral was lovingly restored and should be a required visit by anyone planning the renovation of a Catholic cathedral.

Beautiful choir and mass presentation. The 11am mass could use a little less singing and more focus on the gospel.
