I am no longer sure how long I have been a subscriber at B Street, it has been so long. They present new plays with a revolving company of good actors. Their current location is cramped, but that adversity has squeezed some great performances out of them. They are inventive in their staging and always have a fresh perspective. We... More

I have been a subscriber for over 14 years. It's a great date night for my husband and myself. In December, we usually take our teenage children to the Christmas themed play. It is a small venue, but later this year the theater will be changing locations to a much larger venue. I'll let you know what that's like when... More

Recently saw Clever Little Lies and Speed the Plow. The performances were great! The theater is well arranged for the productions and everything very professionally done. This is an extremely friendly environment and supportive of the actors, crew, staff and most importantly the audience. A fantastic value, enjoyable on many levels. Treat yourself and get out for live theater. We... More

This very small theater was a gem in the rough. We saw a one-of-a-kind play (Every Brilliant Thing), and enjoyed it immensely (not to be missed). NOTE: The theater is in the process of constructing an entirely new facility about a mile from the current location, and promises to be even better than it is now.

We were given complimentary passes by The Amber House BnB (where we stayed) to see a show. It was excellent. Everyone in the audience was involved, we laughed, we cried, we all enjoyed the performance. Worth a visit before they move into the substantial larger brand new performance hall.

The B Street Theater's presentation of "Clever Little Lies" was fantastic! It was a wonderful blend of laughter and heart-wrenching drama with terrific acting. The play explores the struggles and joys and struggles of a lasting marriage. I highly recommend it.

A family group saw the preview of "Clever Little Lies" on Father's Day. It's a cleverly written play that we found very funny and well acted. There's some profanity and adult topics so not a good play for children or if one finds these topics off putting. The plan was very well acted by the actors in the four roles.... More

We have been members of the B Street Theater for years and love it! The talent is fabulous and the plays outstanding. Special treat on Wednesday's, the day we visit, to enjoy the new crop of actors in training after the play. Great to see how they grown and improve as time goes on!

We saw "A Masterpiece of Comic Timing" on a Friday evening. The theatre is in kind of a quirky location. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot or on the street at the B Street Theatre. I called for tickets the week of the show and was worried that the seats might not be that good, but they... More

We have been to B Street Theater several times when we visit the Sacramento area. Most have been very good comedies. The current play, "Masterpiece of Comic…Timing", wasn't very good. I had heard that the reviews were poor and the writer, Robert Caisley, was still working out the kinks. He still needed to do a lot of work. I am... More
