One might not expect a collection of this quality and breadth in Sacramento. This museum is a "must see" collection for art lovers.

The Crocker Art Museum has an eclectic collection of art older and new. The older art is located in the historic home of the Crocker family (of Crocker Bank fame). I'm not really an Art person, but I did enjoy the new and old buildings. There is also a great kids room with an interactive board that I had to drag them again from.

Crocker Art Museum is a regional gem -- It is not a huge museum but it is well worth seeing. Close to the Capital

This is super convenient and only 10$. There are ways to go free, as well. You can check in advance to see what the exhibits will be and they also have a permanent collection. Everyone that works there is sooo nice!
