We enjoyed the casual setting but felt the tasting out by the patio was a bit lackluster. We didn't get much information on the wines, and actually didn't think they were that great especially given the price. There was nothing wrong with our visit, it...More

Frog's Leap was for us, the best winery experience we had in Napa. Beautiful, relaxed, uncluttered setting..personable, knowledgeable and friendly hostess, little palate cleansing nibbles to go with the wine....and perhaps most of all, the wine is really worth the tasting.

We covered three wineries on our trip and this one ranked at the top! We were introduced to our tour guide and he immediately handed us a glass of wine. And this is how the tour proceeded. He brought a basket of different wines with...More

I'd been here once over a decade ago and remembered it as a highlight, so decided to go back during this most recent trip to wine country. It was so beautiful - perfect combination of beautiful indoor/patio decor, stunning scenery and beautiful flowers. The person...More

Frogs leap was very busy on the day we had a reservation, so it was apparent they were trying to get you in and out, but we sat on the patio, had some good wines (one thing that struck me was how incredibly sloppily dressed...More

This place is so pretty and the wine is among the best in the valley. You're led around with the dog, Abigail, who is very friendly.

Just what we had wanted and expected; independent business, wonderful house sitting outside for the tasting, lovely gardens and surrounds, informal atmosphere, kids welcomed. Highly recommended.

This tour and tasting was fun and informative. Walking the grape fields, barrel room and tank rooms we learned an incredible amount about making the wine and how the grapes are grown. Beautiful property and comfortable house to sit by the fire and sip wine...More

I visited Frog's Leap a couple of days ago for the first time in 15 years. I last came to this winery on my very first visit to the Napa Valley and I remember how friendly and kind the whole tasting experience was. I'm happy...More

About 1.5 hour, but that requires an appointment specifically for that and a reserve tasting. I did not do this part of the winery visit, opting instead just for the tasting.

We had an adult with our group who was not drinking. I don't think they charged her at all to follow the tour with the rest of us, so they would probably let your kids come. Also, you will be taken through areas where there... More
