Lovely tasting expereince

They offer outdoor garden tastings at tables. It's a beautiful location. Service was excellent . Not stuffy, relaxed yet dignified atmosphere . The wine is out of this world .

In our recent trip to Napa, we visited: stags, Caymus, Cakebread, Pride and Duckhorn Duckhorn was the prettiest, and Pride was the most interesting/educational. Caymus failed in comparison. However, the outdoor setting is beautiful... it's just that all you do is sit there and drink. No one explains anything in detail - it's just "give me 50 dollars and I'll... More

We did the wine tasting here, and the service manner is excellent. The wine tasting price has raised from 3 kinds of wine tasting for 15 dollars to 5 kinds of wine tasting for 50 dollars. For every 4 bottles of wine purchased, one individual's wine tasting fee can be used to apply the purchase of the wine. The people... More

Had the opportunity to do a semi-private tasting last week at Caymus with my wife. We were seated at a table for 2 in the barrel room, and a wonderful young woman served us and one other table. We tried 4 wines, each better than the prior, finishing with a great Cabernet. Each of the wines were very good, representing... More

Felt like we were in a tourist factory being sent down an assembly line. Not very fun or special. Too bad because I like their wines.

Beautiful grounds, good wine and friendly sommelier, but visit as a whole was underwhelming. Can't quite put my finger on it, but was definitely missing something. Considering Cadmus is one of my favorite wines I was slightly disappointed.

To be frank, I expected more of Caymus. They certainly have the reputation and the following to put on something special. The tasting fee ($50) was the most expensive of the 30 wineries we visited on this trip. The wines, though they were really good - and CAYMUS, for goodness sake, were no better than some of the other wineries... More

I visited Caymus last fall with a group of friends. We stopped by late afternoon without a reservation. There were 6 of us, so we weren't able to get in. We mostly expected this to be the case. But, since we weren't able to get in, Caymus gave us vouchers to come back the next day and have a tasting... More

We love Caymus Cabernet Sauvignon. We find it to be one of the most consistent high quality Cabernets in Napa Valley from year to year. Caymus is one of the larger wineries in the valley as is evident by the size of their barrel aging building. I was happy that we had a chance to visit. The grounds are beautiful... More

Our tasting guide, Traci, was wonderful. She gave us a great history of the Caymus Vineyard and Winery. She made our tasting so enjoyable, to listen to her describle the wines was like listening to a story being read! Great job, thanks for making it fun!
