Caymus is fantastic

They have the best wine in Napa period. Although their tasting is the priciest of the 14 vineyards that I visited 50$ per person. The grounds and wine are delicious.

Maybe it's because this was the only tasting for which we didn't have an appointment. Still, at 50$ per person, one might expect more than what we were given. A smiling but rather indifferent young woman served us four different wines. For each one, she went on at length about which member of the family owned that particular vineyard. Of... More

It is very rare that I give a mediocre rating, but after experiencing Castillo di Amarosa and Chimney Rock before we went to Caymus vineyards the bar was set very high. For $100 for a private tasting, it was lackluster.

Great stop in Napa with msny fantastic wines. Best known for their reds they have some very good white wines as well. Great relaxing setting outdoors or choose the indoor bar

Basically its just a tasting bar. But we loved the girl who poured for us. The entry into to the winery is gorgeous. And the best portapots!!

Not only were we subject to an enforced valet service, but equally a sniggering service manner. Without a reservation the hostess was unable to allocate a one tasting flight, despite the pricey tag of $50.00. The ideal customer profile is 55++, without children and dressed in brand to match a projected image, which became quite quickly apparent as per the... More

Had a very informative and tasty wine tasting at one of our favorite vineyards. The staff was well educated in their wines and wine making process.

Whether the Caymus folks are just so successful they don't care whether you visit or purchase wine was hard to tell but our visit was almost as if we were intruding. We visited several vineyards and this was the least friendly and poured the smallest tastings. The grounds are beautiful and seemingly inviting but all folks we encountered were uniformly... More
