If you have any interest in the REAL history of Napa, don’t miss Grgich Hills. One the last of the still family and owned “benchmark” wineries from the 70s and one that is NOT pretentious. Down to earth and welcoming. Toni was our tasting attendant...More

We went to Grgich knowing that they made excellent Chardonay. What the surprise was that they make a very tasty Fume Blanc and outstanding Zin's and Cabernet's.

A popular place on a Sunday afternoon, not surprisingly! We were grateful to the hostess for squeezing us in on the edge of the tasting bar. The wines were just fine - we certainly would have liked to learn more about them, but it was...More

Our host was grouchy and gruff, the music was 80’s rock, the wine was just ok and overpriced. It was a cold and rainy day and they had the doors flung open so we were freezing. The tasting room was bland. Sorry.. it wasn’t worth...More

Great wines and friendly service. The Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay were well made but had lots of Sulphur. 2015 Merlot had nice structure and good upfront fruit. 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent. Free tasting for military.

We had a great time enjoying the tour guide and the vineyards. It was informative and fun to walk and taste several blends. Great gift shop and don’t forget to bring your cameras for nice sunset pictures.

We stayed there a little over an hour. Tasting the wines and learning of Mike Grgich history in Bottle Shock ( beating all French wines in blind taste test 20+ years ago !) Hope you enjoy!

Sorry but we are not allowed to sell food as part of our permit. We do offer wine and cheese pairings as part of an educational seminar. Call us at the winery @707-963-2784 for more details.
