Checked in on a Friday with our travel trailer and was not aware that the original price was for only 2 occupants, there was a fee for all others. The lady was nice enough to wave the fee since my mother had rented a trailer...More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights over the Memorial Day weekend. EVERY SINGLE SPOT was reserved so you can imagine how packed it was. But since we knew we were camping we did not expect glamour and really enjoyed our stay. Yes...More

Even the drive to get here, up from the Coachella Valley is fabulous. Once here the facilities are superb. Loads of parking and picnic areas, BBQ stands to enable cooking at the lakeside.

If the water is clear it is beautiful to swim in. It's a big Lake and lots of sand around it. You can boat, fish, and picnic areas.

This looks and feels like a mountain lake although it's actually a state reservoir. There's a campground and a public access picnic area. The two of them are separated by a lengthy barbed fence such that it's a long drive to get to/enjoy the picnic...More

Yes you can kayak there. You can bring your own but it must be a sit on, not a sit in. They do rent kayaks at the dock. 1 hour, two hours or all day.
