Middle son (age 25) wanted to go for a hike and have a Father's Day experience. So we went on Monday and it was gorgeous. A spectacular day weather-wise, great views and great trails. Saw osprey right over the fishing pier, as well as close-ups...More

This park is situated right on the water so all of the trails have beautiful views and a nice breeze. There are a lot of options depending how far you want to walk, and there’s beach access as well. Each parking area has bathrooms, too....More

You can see 360 degrees. It was a clear day. Could see Golden Gate Bridge as well as port/train; Chevron refinery; the whole of Richmond. Gave me a better perspective of the area.

A large park with varied terrain - nothing strep, but hilly - forest, meadow and Bay views - great for biking, even a fishing pier. And very underused.

This large park is a paradise for walkers, bikers, picnickers and fishers, tucked out of the way against the San Francisco Bay in a semi-hidden location in Pinole. A large picnic area with play structures is near the park entrance, although you have to walk...More

It's pretty enough, considering that industry and commercial operations are in the distance from most views. There is a combination of trails along the waterside and through the groves of eucalyptus and poison oak. The entire park is fairly level, with less than 100 ft...More

Point Pinole is not the easiest place to find, but it is well worth small parking fee. A short walk away from the parking lot, the entrance of the park opens to a vista of well spaced out picnic tables and trees. Several trails in...More
