A lovely trail right along the eastern shore of the San Francisco Bay, with easy access from Point Isabel dog park (Exit 80 at Central Avenue), Bay View trailhead (Exit 580 at Bay View), or from the Richmond Marina or the Craneway Building. Overall length...More

There are several ways to access the Trail, choose your parking lot. I like to start near the Rosie the Riveter Monument and head south. Or north. It doesn't matter, the trail is beautiful in either direction. The trail can be busy between 4 and...More

It was a hot summer day, but this area had warm summer breezes. Everywhere you turn, the views are amazing. Trail can sometimes be narrow for walkers and bikers but people are patient. Various areas for parking. Price is right- free as it should be!

It is a 10K two-way trail from Costco to Richmond harbor and return. Nice route, beautiful view. Dogs are on leash. It is the best trail for jogging around there.

We just saw an end of the trail but it was wide, well lit, clean, and well used. What a nice addition to the area. Lots of people walking and bikers. Could accommodate both easily.

Great bike ride by the water. Today it was 90 degrees in Benicia and 70 degrees for a bike ride by the water

Whether on bike or foot, the views from the Bay Trail are not to be missed. Great for dog walkers- complete with poop bags and trash cans! Amazing vistas and bird life.

The Marina Bay Trail is part of the San Francisco Bay Trail system that will eventually completely connect up and loop around the bay. This section of the SF Bay Trail is very well-maintained by the city of Richmond (both the trails, facilities, and landscaping)...More

The Marina Bay Trail is one of the best waterfront trails around! It's clean, wide, smooth with lots of wild flora and fauna. Eventually the Richmond Bay Trails will all connect and be a great outing for the fit and choosy. The only thing missing,...More
