We've been bringing our dogs here since the mid-to-late 90's, and it has simply exploded in popularity for dog owners- and with good reason. Beautiful views of the bay and golden gate bridge, tons of doggie pals to play with off leash, a convivial outdoor café and indoor dog wash/mini-pet store, and a decent length of both asphalt and dirt... Over 30 acres of off-leash dog heaven. Whether you have a water loving or landlubber type of canine, your pup will love Point Isabel! There's even a cafe for humans (Sit and Stay Cafe) and a place to wash your pup if they venture into the mud (Mudpuppy's Grooming). It's a very popular spot - the most visited dog park... More

This was my first time to Point Isabel. It was a delightful place with many happy dogs and dog walkers. Your quadruped can be off lease and within voice command. Some of the dogs went for a swim and then rolled in a mud puddle. But there were water to drink and to rinse off. I loved the place and... More

Point Isabel is a great little park for dog walkers, but you don't need a four legged companion to enjoy the safe clean trails with an incredible view of the bay. This is so much more pleasant than the Berkeley Marina.

Fenced. Dogs mostly off leash. Friendly and crowded on weekends. If your dog likes water, they will get in! plenty of opportunities for that, but there is also a hose to wash them at the end. Did I mention that cafe/grooming place (med puppies I believe its name is).

Right on the water, this lovely park has exceptional views, lots of off-leash fun for your dogs, plus a cafe and grooming service. Views: you can see San Francisco, The Golden Gate Bridge, Angel Island and Marin in one fell swoop. Sit and Stay Cafe: good coffee, bagels, sandwiches, and homemade soup and chili. Mud Puppy's Grooming: they sell snacks... More

Point Isabel is one of the best dog parks in the country. Except for parking lot area the park is off leash for all dogs, except aggressive ones. Lots of doggy bag stations and garbage cans in which to dispose of them. Most people pickup after their dogs. The park is a nice flat easy walking area right on the... More

Number one factor... most the the city-scape views that you see on most of the Bay Area TV stations shoot their San Francisco background shots from Point Isabel. It's the Bay Areas locals secret visitors spot to show off to out-of-town guest.

Never seen so many happy dogs and happy owners out for a weekend walk on Point Isabel. Great facilities including toilets and special dog washing station - only in California! Some unfortunate owners watched helplessly as their pets charged into the low tide muddy bay and indulged their mud slithering antics only made more exciting by rapid shakes when they... More
