We went to the Tom Sawyer play and can honestly say it was an absolutely beautiful production. The most spectacular part was in the second half, there was a woman that had so much soul in her singing, she almost brought the house down and it was hard to refrain from getting up and dancing along with her. We wanted to meet her after the show, but she managed to slip out and we just missed her. If she is reading this review, our hats are off to you, you have an absolutely beautiful voice, and you can come and sing in our church any day!! The smell of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies could be sensed long before we entered the doors, and as always, couldn't resist buying a couple of them. They were delicious. The seating is stadium style, so you don't have to worry about peeking around the person in front of you to have a good view. Our seats were pretty much in the middle of the theater, and the only down side I can say is that on a few occasions when the actors got enthusiastic and excited speaking their lines, their voices got very loud, and in a couple cases, unintelligible. Other than that we really enjoyed the play.

We have been going here for about 20 years. It's our favorite place to see a play. The acting is always great as is the directing. The story's that they tell are wonderful, always with a good moral. Good clean fun every time!!

This is the second time my husband and I have attended the Lighthouse Theater and will continue to return. Staff is great, and performers are professional and passionate actors and actresses. The theater is small enough to where any seat you get has a great view. The shows are diversified, uplifting and in many instances based on true stories. The price is reasonable and water, coffee and cookies are the only food available so plan to have lunch or dinner before or after the event.

The play was quite excellent in production ... The cast as tremendous! The lighting and sound crew was attentive and professional ... The theatre is a former church that has been remade quite well! NOTE: be careful with the website. It is not possible to exchange seats once purchased. I ended up buying an extra seat that I could not use - I had bought a block of four. ... When I asked for a refund on the unused ticket - the response was cordial but inadequate. No acknowledgement was forthcoming when it can to the inadequacy re of their website. IN SHORT: great artistic experience! No good on customer service.
