Worth the stop. Easy access too. Quick stop to see the bridge. It's a very cool walking bridge. Unique design, nice for a hike or picnic break.

Yes, I saw people walking their dogs. However, be aware that Redding gets very hot! The glass-top bridge temperatures are too hot for dogs feet. (Think of what it would be like to walk barefoot on a hot stove!!!) Please do... More

Travel Lodge, you get a voucher for a free breakfast at Lumberjacks, can not be beat, for a working persons budget. Clean and well kept place.
