This beach is a long way from housing and hasn't seemed very crowded when we've been there. We mostly go to have people look at the big rock. It is pretty close to PCH so traffic is a bit loud. You have to pay for...More

We traveled out to this "Park" which is beautiful, but judging by the lack of parking and constant security patrols it is clear the locals don't want visitors

We took our two kids (3 & 5) with us here for their first experience camping in a tent. For families, this is overall a great spot. The camping is easy to get to, and the Sycamore Canyon campground provides token operated showers, bathrooms, and...More

Off the somewhat beaten path - this is a quieter, less crowded place to go. Cleaner and less hassle then farther down on the PCH. No lifeguards were we were at though. Although I think there are some on the next beach over - still...More

Peaceful beach and not as crazy as Carrillo. Has grills and picnic area right next to the beach. Great place to watch the waves, contemplate life and spend time with the fam.

Beautiful clean beach. Stopped here while traveling down the coast. It was early morning so there was no one else around. Very tranquil. Will definitely be back.

Yes, there is an entrance fee and varies during different time of year and of course holidays. Remember, it is a state park. The place can get very crowded depending on holidays. The campground will get full.
