I can always count on a good meal and prompt service when I visit this restaurant. Since it’s a working pier, fishermen are usually coming in with their catches. The photos of the flood that struck the pier years ago, are hanging in the restaurant...More

Surfers abound. Fishing abounds, both commercial and noncommercial. Great coffee and sandwich place. Great pizza place. The Chowder House has been there forever. The pier is alive and profound. Short enough to be fun for tourists and children. Really an extraordinary opportunity to be part...More

Lots of tourists come here to enjoy the pier and the ocean. It has mountains in both sides, making it even more attractive. The ocean was surrounding us. Cars can drive on the pier and there are picnic tables. There were several boats near the...More

Was lucky enough to observe a commercial fisherman cleaning an albacore tuna for a local resident. Both individuals were interesting and informative to visit with.

This is a working fishing pier. This is not a tourist trap pier. We walked out onto the pier and tried to stay out of the way of the fisherman. It was really cool.

We enjoyed watching people fishing from the dock, boats coming and going, and the harbor view. Lovely setting.

Nothing to do on this pier unless you have a fishing pole. Bring your own fish cleaning equipment. Fish not abundant. No seating.

Beautiful place. It's about a mile drive down Port Rd, to the pier, Off Hwy 1. Super easy to get to. Lots of parking. I've never seen it completely full. This is not a sand beach. It's small rocks. Some sharp. So you want closed...More

This is a great place to fish but not so much to catch anything. The visit is the thing. The Pizza place is great for snacks while fishing

All I can say is we were in Point Arena for a week in the middle of May and we didn't have any foggy days, but I don't know what July is like.
