Great idea. Added a very small Deli with great sandwiches and pizza. Ordered and went to taste some wines. Had about ten wines to sample for a small tasting charge. Staff was friendly and personable. Wines are unique. They have a white babera that is definitely different from what you might be used to.

While the winery grounds are nice , the wines are so-so. The Bistro sandwichs are terrible, pre-made and over microwaved, when into the garbage can uneaten.

Visited the winery, very beautiful with gardens worth many pictures. Lots of wine tasting, many many items to look and shop for. Very friendly staff, especially Kerri who served us and was knowledgeable about the region as well as the wines.

The grounds are very nice and the patio is inviting. There are two parts, the bistro and the wine tasting room. The food was good and the wines so-so. I found them to be very light and way overpriced for the area.

The only positive to this place is that the gardens and grounds are really lovely. However, customer service in the tasting room leaves much to be desired. It took us forever, while standing at the tasting bar, to even be acknowledged. Our pourer said very little at all to us, except to try and sell us on their wine club.... More

This is a lovely winery with a nice deli and outdoor seating. Tasting is not free unless you join the wine club but the price is reasonable. They also have decorative items for sale in the tasting room.

I enjoyed the red wine here, especially the Zin. They had barrel tasting too, which was fun! Inside the winery is a nice gift shop. The grounds are so beautiful, there's a rose garden, a pond with bullfrogs and a great outdoor seating area. It would be a gorgeous setting for a special event. Another great feature about this winery is... More

Last weekend I visited the Amador County wineries to pick up my wine club orders. One of the wineries was Villa Toscano just outside of Plymouth in the California Foothills. The winery has a great selection of wine with their zinfandels being my favorite. Try the Old Vine Zins, they are full bodied with a great nose. This day the... More

There are many wineries to visit in Amador County, but this is a great place to stop for a fun, and delicious, lunch. While staying at The Foxes Inn in Sutter Creek we asked for a recommendation for lunch in the area. The young lady who delivered our breakfast told us to try Villa Toscano Winery for one of the... We had a great lunch @ the winery. It was a beautiful sunny day so sat on the patio with a great bottle of wine to enjoy pasta, grilled veggies, salads and yummy cake from the bakery! Fridays are really busy so go early!
