My husband and I have stopped by this winery 3 times now. It is becoming one of our favorite stops in the Amador wine area. There are many tasting selections to choose from, the wine is very good and they will take the cost of the tasting off a bottle if you choose to purchase, which we always do. The... More

It's the Wandering Yank here. Mrs. Yank and I were in the Amador wine country 2 weekends ago for the annual Crush event, where we bought a ticket that gave us unlimited tasting and food. We had a great time, visiting 11 wineries over 2 days. We went to Borjon the first day. The tasting room is very nice, the... More

We stopped on our way to Placerville. What a nice relaxing atmosphere! Tasting were very generous. They were explained well. The Sangiovese the the taste of red cranberries, tobacco leaf and citrus peals was awesome! I'm partial to Italian wines even if they really aren't Italian. Good Job Borjon!

Long awaited place to eat on the same site as Bojon Winery. My husband and I are club members. We often stop at Villa Toscano for bit to eat prior to heading over to Borjon. We will not be having our lunch at Borjon:) Excellent menue choices. Nice outside eating space and eager to have another meal there.

A couple of friends suggested we try this winery on one of our Amador County wine tasting visits. We stopped in on a busy Saturday afternoon. The tasting room was packed but after a few minutes we were able to find some room and begin our tasting. They had 2 tastings to choose from. Half of our group chose the... More

I felt like I was in a Mexican restaurant while tasting wines. The tasting list read like a Mexican restaurant menu. Wines were average and some were over $100. Surprised to find such high prices in this sleepy little town.

We have been wine club member of Borjon for several. This family owned and operated winery is a gem. Attended a Revolution Fiesta recently - Momma Borjon prepared the food. Music, food and wine made for a delightful day!!

One of my favorite wineries in the Shenandoah Valley. My wife once said there wasn't a wine there she didn't like. We because wine club members.

The unique thing about this winery is the blend of Mexican and American culture in the entire wine experience. There is a small tequilla museum to the left as you enter -- a homage to the heritage of the family from the small town of Paracuaro in the state of Guanajuato, Mexico. The tasting room is filled with western themed... More

This place has become one of our favorites over the last few years. They have a great tasting room, wonderful staff and amazing wines. Get there early! This winery is popular and can fill up in the afternoon. We generally go up on Friday and have the place relatively to ourselves! This year's 2012 Xinfandel (that's not a spelling mistake)... More
