I have been Going to Roaring Camp for the past 18 summers. The campsite is great with cabins or tent space to rent. The River is my favorite part and it is flows from North to South right through camp. There is swimming, fishing, floating, and there are plenty of opportunities to find gold if you look. How many campsites... More

My wife finally drug me down the canyon to Roaring Camp for a week. We signed up for two weeks the next year on the second day and have been going to Roaring Camp for at least two weeks since. It is hard for me to explain what Roaring Camp is all about, but the best description I can give... More

I have been going to Roaring camp for many years, now up to 5 weeks every year. I have traveled the continent extensively, but Roaring camp is my absolute favorite hide-away! The canyon is beautiful, gold is good quality. But the most awesome amenity is the phenomenal family that owns and runs the camp. It is no secret that their... More

You take a open air truck down to the dinner site, which takes about 1/2 hour to get to, once you are there you have a wonderful steak dinner with beans, potatoes, sit at a picnic table, best to bring a jacket, once the sun goes down it gets very cold.

I've been coming to Roaring Camp for 20 years. I've made many friends here over the years and every year is like a family reunion. Come join our family, rest, relax, explore, prospect, and enjoy your time away from the rest of the world.

Third time to spend a week at Roaring Camp. No phone, email, texting. Totally unplugged and peace for a week. That, mixed with a camp filled with terrific people, fresh air and so many activities made it a wonderful vacation. Found a good amount of gold and learned some new prospecting techniques. Can't wait until next year.

This is my 6th trip to Roaring Camp and again we had a great week with our Camp family and friends. Glamping (Glamorous -Camping) at its finest! Only 352 days until we pull into the parking lot of the upper camp office and make another adventure. Left with vials of gold from our pile and from the banks of the... More

I went back to Roaring Camp Mining Co., again for the second time in a row and had a wonderful time. Again, my week was filled with extracting the gold from my pile of gold bearing mound of material I bought, and digging for gold at "Ceasars"., An area where campers and prospectors dig for the placer gold found on... Take a tour guided trip down the canyon, just minutes from Pine Grove. Hear about the history at Roaring Camp, try a little panning for gold on the river or go fishing. We finished it off with an awesome outdoor steak dinner accompanied by a pretty talented country band. For those who really want to get away from it all... More
