My wife has been wanting to visit this attraction for awhile now and we finally made the time and drove up during the week between Christmas and New years. This is a privately run operation that takes in rescues and other unwanted animals from owners...More

The workers were very rude. There was no explanation on the animals - what type - what was wrong with them. In other words no description at all. The animals were housed in small cages - it was pathetic. We took our grandson and it...More

Don't go in the summer. They don't open until noon and it's around 100+. Not a lot of animals and they are put in small enclosures. I aplode them for what they are trying to do with rescue animals, but don't think they have the...More

Great place to tak the kids for an outing. The animal habitats are clean, well kept, and although I hate that the big cats are confined, I am aware that they were rescued from less than optimum situations and assume their life is better now....More

We just stumbled upon this animal sanctuary while we were looking for things to do out in the Glendora/Rancho Cucumonga area. The animals are all wild, exotic animals who were rescued from people who had them as pets. There are tigers, a bear, a lion,...More

My husband is fascinated by tigers. So rather than make the trip to Tiger Island in Australia, we went to Forever Wild in Phelan. We toured with friends -- it's self-guided. But the highlight was getting to feed Princess, the white tiger! There's an extra...More

We booked a tour at noon and were very happy with the information from the docent. The docent also knows how to get the animals to interact more. It was great seeing tigers and lions and cheetahs up close! Mostly less than 10 feet away....More

Enjoyed all the big cats! Also had, snakes, birds and many other animals from desert region. Visit if you later in the day or after sunset. When it is cooler animals are more active.

This is a wonderful experience if you can handle large caged cats. Some years ago, one of the TV DIY shows did their cages and surroundings over so it is much nicer than it used to be. Beautiful animals! They sometimes turn up at Phelan...More

I'm not sure if the tiger has downs syndrome, but they have a very nice tiger there that looks healthy and roars with pride.
