Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cool place for families with kids to hang out. There is plenty of seating outside in between a large grassy area and several cornholes. Great selection of regular and limited series beers and seltzers. All the food we ordered was tasty: chicken Caesar salad, truffle fries, spicy fried chicken sandwich and spicy millie burger. Our kids enjoyed the grilled cheese and cheeseburger. Definitely stop by if you’re near Petaluma!

We went on a Sunday afternoon and sat on the back patio. They had a band playing live music and we tried a handful of flights. I really loved their sour beers!

First timer here and loved it! I tried the Sumpin Sumpin and if you like wheat, then you will like this. There was a live band playing and many tables to sit. They also have a gift shop and looks like they have a small auditorium in the back.

We went to the Brewery this past Saturday to eat dinner around 6:30pm. The place was nice , but cold and the food was really good. Our waitress was awesome and we left her a hefty tip. Some time around 7:50 the waitress came around and said last call we close at 8pm. So we ordered 2 more pitchers of beer (THAT WASNT CHEAP) and she brings them out closer to 8pm. Not even 5 minutes later another guy comes by and basically tells us its time to go along with everyone else at the surrounding tables. We let him know that we just got the 2 pitchers and would like to drink them. He tells us we have 5 minutes, and is back in 2 minutes ushering us out. We wasted both pitchers, (That should have never been served to us if they weren't going to let us drink them). The Manager was rude and its in poor taste to rush people out of your restaurant. I will not be a returning customer and its too the bad the food was really good.

I went with my young kids, so could not stay for a long time. However we enjoyed the food and beers very much. The nacho and wings we ordered were huge and delicious. The music was a bit loud for us, but very understandable. We were grateful that we could bring kids. We had great time, thanks to previous tripadvisor reviewers.

It was a perfect Northern California day and Lagunitas provides the perfect setting for enjoying the weather. The music and vibe are always enjoyable and the food never disappoints. We started with the samplers and a ginger beer. The IPA is my favourite so this time I intentionally chose the ginger and it was refreshing and light. It went well with out nachos, pretzels and wings. Oh about the wings, do not pass these up! The unique flavour makes you want to order extra to go. Cooked well, slight charred taste, tasty slightly sweet sauce, yummy. The beers are the best I've had, not too hoppy and none if the bittern you can get from some local brews. The service was ok, not too slow, could be a but friendlier but overall not that bad. It's a busy place, diverse crowd but overall we enjoyed and will be back!

Unlike most beer tours, Lagunitas starts with the beer, then does the tour. The beer (5 oz pours) comes fast. I would have liked to savor more, but the beer is really good and the price was right (free). Definitely worth a stop.

We just attended a fundraiser at Lagunitas. The organization is very community service oriented. We appreciate that. Then there is the beer! Oh yeah, the beer!! There are so many great ones. Tonight we drank stout. Run, don't walk to Lagunitas. A truly great place for great beer.

I love Lagunitas beer. It has been my favorite brewery for years now. I was excited to visit and it started off well. Our server was good, the beer amazing. My wife and I ordered food and since it was closing soon decided to go check out the schwag shop like our server suggested. While in the store our food and 3/5’s of my wife’s flight were cleared. I’m still a big fan of the beer and would visit again but certainly left disappointed

Visiting the area looking for a place to have a beer. Found the brewery. The complex is much bigger than expected. Nice size bar big outside patio with entertainment. Being a beer geek this place is great. Large selection of beer and they do make great beer. Nice size food menu, gift shop and brewery tours.

Yes, you can bring the family, including your dog! But only those age 21 and up can take the brewery tour.

I am pretty sure it's beer only. But they have such a large selection you should have no problem finding a taste that you like
