Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had heard a lot about this winery and were excited to try it. It has a small outdoor seating area surrounded by all of their vines. But other parts of the facility has room to seat larger parties. It is a pet friendly place and has a cute lab that walks around patrolling the grounds. It’s a place where you can bring your own food and enjoy your tastings. But the tasting is where we ran into a little trouble. We did the Wine Line, where we were shuttled from winery to winery for a certain price and our tasting was included. We got the feeling that we were being rushed through our tasting because of that status. We were given very quick, short explanations of the wines and we were not offered a chance to revisit any of the wines. The wines were a bit pricey compared to other vineyards in the area but it was the service that left a bad taste in our mouths.

As a person who works in the Texas wine industry I have heard Janelle Dusi talk at a Texas association meeting and fell in love with her story. My traveling friend and I chose this as our first stop for a wine tasting and we were not disappointed. I especially liked the Pinot Grigio and rose . The young man who waited on us was very attentive (Janelle was away speaking at some conference , sorry to have missed her). A great start to our visit in Paso Robles!!!

We headed here after a couple of other wineries because there was a high-rated food truck there on Saturday. The tasting room was packed, and it was too cool and windy to sit outside. One of the staff (sorry, forgot your name) brought us into the barrel room so we could eat and taste. The wines were all wonderful, and the history of the winery interesting. We left with a few bottles and a glow from the hospitality we enjoyed. Tacos from Hungry Mother a real bonus!

So love J Dusi! I was introduced to this "special" winery 5 years ago by my best friend. I became a member and have introduced J Dusi to many friends who are now members also. I am such a fan of all their wine, but must admit I am a Pinot Grigo person. The best ever!!!! Everyone that works at the winery are so personable and fun. The wine is excellent and the location is the best!!! Janelle Dusi is an excellent winemaker that makes my family and friends coming back. Don't miss this wine tasting experience.

No matter the limitations due to Covid, J Dusi ensured we had a fabulous time. Hearing about the history and planting of vines since 1924, added to the depth of the reds we experienced. The Zinn tasted like experience and velvety pepper taste made us buy more than 1 to take home. Do not miss this!

Visited J Dusi with 12 college friends. All of our group thoroughly loved the wine. I chose J Dusi for my friends to experience as I am a Club Member. This winery is my go to place for Pinot Grigio. The best ever! The setting is casual and the servers are super.

I try to stop into this winery (and a couple of others) when I drive to LA from San Carlos. Very fine zinfandels, and now I am very pleased with their interesting and distinctive blends. Astonished to discover that they actually stomp crush some of their grapes rather than use a crusher--with soft clean boots of course. Decided to join their wine club to keep abreast of their offerings, as well as events. I don't usually drink whites but I enjoyed the pinot grigio so much that I bought 4 bottles to take home.
The winemaker and owner, Janell, is often available and very interesting to speak with, especially as if you have had some winemaking experience (as I have). On this trip I also found the staff very friendly and I shared some recent experiences of Sicily with them. One nice aspect of the winery site is that it can have nice breezes even when it is quite hot.

I liked the 2013 Pinot Grigio and the 2012 Zinfandel (Dante Dusi Vineyard). $10 tasting fee was waived with wine purchase. Nice tasting room with a very nice wine server.
