In 1973, Gary Eberle began his career in the wine industry by heading his family's Estrella River Winery (currently 360 Degrees in Paso Robles) and produced 500,000 cases a year at its facility. Eberle's pioneering spirit didn't stop there. In 1980, he co-founded the Paso Robles Appellation and in 1983, Gary opened the doors to his own Eberle Winery with the premiere of Eberle's 1979 Cabernet Sauvignon.

Today, Eberle handcrafts 25,000 cases of wine each year from surrounding Estate vineyards. And, after more than 33 years since the release of the Eberle label, the winery consistently remains one of the highest award-winning wineries in the United States. The German name "Eberle" translates to "small boar." At Eberle Winery, a bronze boar greets every guest who visits the Tasting Room. The statue is the 93rd replica of the original bronze Porcellino cast by Tacca in 1620. And today, the original can be found in the straw market in Florence, Italy. It is considered good luck to rub the boar's nose and toss a coin in the water below.

Guest enjoy complimentary wine tasting and cave tours daily. Reservations for VIP Tour & Tasting, groups of 8 or more guests or reserve tastings please contact in advance.

Everytime we are in Paso Robles we visit this winery, the wine is excellent with a great atmosphere. The owners are huge Military supporters and all active duty and Veterans should make it a point to support them.

Nice tasting room, knowledgeable staff, just felt a little odd. Staff was very friendly and helpful to the couple beside us with dinner suggestions etc, we didn't buy wine so they weren't so helpful

We loved this winery. Not a lot of frantic activity as at some others. Very pleasant folk serving. David helped us. And, when he learned that we were staying at the Wine Country RV but had not gotten a discount card from them (because we didn't know we were going to Eberle when we set out), provided us with a... I've gone twice and I loved it. Wines are great. Barbera and cabernet are my absolutely favorites. Their whites are good too. We've tried their chardonnay and a dessert wine and both were delicious. Very happy with their staff as well. Always super friendly. Will go back for sure the next time we are in Paso Robles. There are two... More

Eberle is one of the oldest wineries in Paso Robles. What makes it particularly special is that Gary Eberle, the founder, is often found wandering around the property with his poodles. The wine is excellent, and they offer a free tasting to anyone who comes in, rare for Paso, and almost unheard of in places like Napa. That Eberle is... More

Yes, I know it was 4:40 when we arrived. And I know that you close at 5:00. However, we have had recommendations for your winery and have hurried to make it before closing. We arrive at 4:40 and are greeted with a "Welcome," as he looks at his watch, tells us they are getting ready to close and then walks... More

Our first stop during our Pismo birthday trip for our daughter was Eberle Winery. We had been here before but not to picnic. There are lots of tables set up right outside the tasting room with very pretty views of the vineyards. We were lucky enough to get a large table for our family of 6. We enjoyed smoked salmon... Wine was good, the tour of the cave was a great deal of fun. The guide was extremely knowledgable of the area and the wines, vineyards, etc. Great place to taste even if you have kids, they'll love the cave.

We visited in December and had a chance to taste some very nice Chardonnay and other delicates also. We also got opportunity to see the wine cellar and learn about their production. And there were even winery dogs greeting us in the property!
