Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Meghan was sharp and very knowledgeable during our tour of their facilities and while presenting their wines. The winery and grounds are beautiful. Linne Calodo’s wines are some of the best in the Paso Robles region. Our east coast wine tour travelers loved both lines of wines! They sell out each year with most of their wines going to their wine club members, a clue as to the quality of their wines. This was one of the highlights of our tour. A can't miss experience if you visit the area. Appointments required. I'll be back with my next tour group.

This is my second favorite winery in Paso Robles, and this winery was responsible for helping launch Cris Cherry( Villa Creek) into wine stardom. I love all the wines here, you can't go wrong with the wines they have here. People complain about the high prices here, but good wine doesn't come cheap. If you want cheap wine, go to Tobin James

What I am finding surprising on Trip Advisor is a lot of the high end boutique wineries are not listed. Justin, L'Aventure, etc. are names most of us know but Linne Calodo for those in know is a MUST. Appointment only. We tried to visit last August 2011 but the winery was sold out. We knew were going for the weekend so I emailed the winery. I dialogued with Mark who was helpful and accomodating with our schedule. The Vineyard is located on the corner of Vineyard Drive and the 46. It was just my boyfriend and I and they had the tasting menu set up for us with our names on it which I thought was a nice touch. We tasted with Brandi who could not be more funny, knowledgeable about the wines and very helpful in answering our questions. Matt Trevisan is the wine maker here and all his wines were simply fantastic. We tasted three as many were sold out and mostly available to wine club members only. I have a hard time with wine clubs because it's impossible to join them all. This is one wine club I would join. We enjoyed all the wines we tried. This is a high end winery - wines range in the $40.00 to $70.00 range but worth it. Definetely not to be missed!

Smallest most over priced wine selection ever ever ever.............supercilious wine hostess.......skip this winery and go to Turley or Epoch or Justin where the quality and servings are delicious and fairly priced........This sterile tasting room is an example of what a tasting room should not be...and to think one had to make an appointment!

Everything overpriced. $20 tasting fee much too high for the experience. $80 for bottles of wine that didn't seem that exceptional. Asked if there were any crackers and told there weren't any. After the third taste the server brought out some almonds. Weren't offered any glasses of water. There are many other places to try, skip this one. We did like the architecture of the building.

The best wine in Paso; it goes with all meals we enjoy, from steaks to stews, to pasta and charcuterie. The tasting room is modern and comfortable and the staff is among the most knowledgeable in the Central Coast, if not the state, with experience in wine and food from East to West Coast.

Linne Calodo make high-end blend red wines. Their wines are among my favorites and I'm always impressed with Matt's creativity. This year there were two new wines that my wife and I enjoyed. The first is unique to their normal line-up, a non-blended 100% Cab. Very rich and quite satisfying. They old us that it was called 'The Martian' because it is alien to their normal offerings. The other was "In My Dreams' which my wife found as a apt description! This is a blend starting with tempranillo grape, then grenache, mourvedre, and tenant. Very smooth start and quite complex finish.
The staff are excellent. We had arrived late and missed some of the pours, but when checking out they shared some more wines to make sure we had the opportunity to try them all. Great service, thank you!!

For $20 we got to taste two Linne Calodo wines (the 2012 Rising Tides GSM, $72, and the Zinfandel-based 2012 Outsider, $62) and the Slacker Wines' 2012 The Professional (GSM, $48). The wines were good but not exceptional, and the tasting fee was among the highest in the area. The modern, recently constructed tasting room is located in canyon surrounded by tall trees with no views. The grounds were unimpressive. This was our second visit to this winery in 5 years. We will probably not go back again. There more interesting wineries to visit in Paso Robles, often with picturesque grounds and spectacular views, and far better and more affordable wines to try.

My family and I just returned from Paso Robles. Erica was so sweet and knowledgeable about the wines and toured us around the property. The wines were delicious and the building was breathtaking. Brandi was very accommodating and excellent. I would highly recommend.

Wines are very lovely. Tasting room is by appointment only. We were a bit late for appointment and were worried that we would not be allowed to taste but it was no problem. Very friendly staff in the tasting room
