This is a lovely family-owned winery right off Hwy 101. We stopped by a couple of years ago and owners Brady and Cathy were welcoming not only to us but to our border collie. Their wines are great and affordable and there's a good selection. We joined their wine club and have since enjoyed many great pick up parties and... More

A family winery (husband, wife, wife’s Dad) with very good wines at reasonable prices. Tasting room also has gifts and snacks. $5.00 tasting fee is waived with purchase of one bottle. Always worth a stop when you’re in Paso. A nice pond on the property. Sit on the lawn for a picnic.

This has been my longest wine club ever, joined shortly after they started. Brady, Cathy, and their whole crew always are smiling and welcoming, almost like we are coming to their home. I have never seen White Merlot and this is what turned me on to them so many years ago that I just stop in every few months to... More

Winery is literally off the freeway exit while going south on the 101. Look for the signs and look for immediate yield. The house, the pond, the peacock, the dog -- these are things you may see upon entrance. Inside it is a Tuscan dream. The Syrah to Pinot are outstanding members of the reds genre but there is even... Right off Highway 101 between San Miguel and Paso Robles, San Marcos Creek Winery is always worth a stop. Nice tasting room, usually hosted by the winemaker or his wife; and an Australian Shepherd greeter. Rhone varietals, unerringly well-crafted, and fairly priced. Mere $5.00 tasting fee. Nice grounds, a few food items and wine-related items for sale. I stop here... More

We stopped in at this winery and so glad we did. Great wine and Cathy was so friendly and such a pleasure to talk with. The winery itself was very well taken care of and looked quaint and inviting. There was a good variety of items to purchase that was wine related and they offer original art from a local... More

Since my last review I have visited San Marcos Creek several times. It is always a pleasure to stop in and see Brady and Cathy in the tasting room. They have some new wines for you to enjoy this spring 2013. Stop in and give them a try. The tasting room is very easy to access from Highway 101.

Cathy and Brady greeted us as if we were long lost friends and it only got better from there. The wine is very tasty and the prices are very competitive with comparable wineries in the area. The tasting room is well laid out with great merchandise and the wine dogs were a blast. The view is very nice and we... More
