Brought my three very active kids to this winery because of the whale bone fossil I found in the reviews and the disc golf. Let me tell you it was so much better than I thought! First, kids could get a tasting of their grape juice made from the Zinfandel Grapes. The wine tasting is $5 for up to 7... More

This is my favorite winery in Paso Robles. They have an amazing Muscat Canelli , Late Harvest Muscat and Late Harvest Zin. Plus I pick up a few bottles of grape juice for the kids. The staff is extremely knowledgeable as well as friendly. We have been wine club members for the past 2 years.

We always stop at Castoro for the Harvest Festival weekend. With the large crowd and the rain, things were a bit challenging, but still fun. The wine was very good, and the music was great. The winery is at a beautiful location, and has a unique entranceway surrounded by grape vines - you have to take a photo here. We'll... More

Really enjoyed this winery and tasting. The wine was good, but the service was great. The location was really lovely add well. Very relaxing and an overall enjoyable time.

This was the last of our winery visits for the day and probably the best. For the £5 charge there seemed little restriction on which 7 wines you tasted but the service was slow with no information being provided about each wine that we tasted. However on a positive there was live music on the terrace which, with wine bought... More

Went on a wine tour and was given a wine list pricing. Prices were too high for this poor quality wine, but they offered a 25% discount so I ordered. The bill was not even close to the quote. After ten minutes of excuses and recalculation I paid $20.00 more than quoted and left. I won't be back.

I love their slogan "damn good wines". Reminded me of my Dad, loved walking up to the entrance tasting the grapes, sweet! I am a wine tasting rookie and this was my first time, my husband is a beer guy, and a self proclaimed "wine wimp". The staff was awesome, she helped me explore some wines, and found some sweet... Large tasting menu to choose from. 7 tastes for $5. Wine wasn't very good but they had Pokemon so that's all that matters. . . Right? I saw 4 people trying to catch Pokemon, my wife was successful. Boom. They have disc golf which is fun and they also sell discs. Also found out that 'Castoro' means 'Beaver' in Italian.

Our friends are members at Castoro, and they introduced us to their favorite wine pourer, Jan. We had a fun time tasting and swapping stories with Jan and thoroughly enjoyed our visit, oh, yes, and the wine! We brought sandwiches from a local shop and enjoyed them in the picnic area with a bottle of Chardonnay. We also took a... More

The grounds are beautiful. Buy a bottle of wine and have a picnic. We like the Chardonnay and Cabernet. People are friendly. Make this a stop on your list!
