The tower may seem like just another tower but it isn't. The guides are excellent and the stories they tell are worth listening to. The view of Stanford is exhilarating . You leave the tower tour with a wow feeling

The observation platform which is on the 14th floor of he Hoover Tower will afford you wonderful views of virtually the entire Bay Area on a clear day. You will be able to see San Francisco, Berkley, all the bridges which span of the Bay, and (of course) all of Stanford's campus and The Dish on the hills located behind... More

Open during the day and worth the small fee to go to the top for a 360 degree view of Stanford University and the surrounding area. On a clear day you can see the buildings of San Francisco. Bring binoculars. Once on top you can stay as long as you want. There are a couple of rooms at the base... More

During a recent visit to San Jose - Monterey area, we wanted to visit the Stanford campus. We were not disappointed in this gorgeous campus. We did not go inside the tower, but the architecture is great.

I still remember the amazing view of Stanford from the top. The tower is beautiful. There is a big bell at the topmost floor. Which rings on special day.

We visited the tower and museum on Stanford's Parents weekend. The line went quickly. It was a nice view.

worth a visit and does not take long. The balcony at the top provides a spectacular view of the Stanford architecture - the old quad, the new one and lots more. And you don't have to climb the steps, there is an elevator :).
